This started as a problem I couldn't solve by trying harder.
For most of my twenties I had a version of myself in my head that I was constantly underperforming. Sharper, calmer, more disciplined. I'd read the books, write the lists, and still wake up looking nothing like him.
The breakthrough wasn't a system. It was the realization that I'd been treating identity as the destination instead of the lever. I wasn't supposed to wait until I felt like that person. I was supposed to act, in micro, like that person — until the gap closed.
Most "mindset" content is surface-level: shouting affirmations at a self that doesn't believe them. The work is harder, quieter, and more physical than that. It's small, repeatable cues that make the practiced self easier to reach than the default one.
Grattifi is built on three nodes: awareness, identity, behavior. Change any one and the others move. The clothing is the awareness layer — a portable cue that keeps the practiced self in the room when motivation isn't.
I've spent over a decade as a creative director, building brands and systems for other people. Grattifi is the first one I've built for the version of myself I wish I'd had access to at twenty-three. I don't claim to be a therapist. I claim to be someone who has done the rebuilding work, badly and then better, and is willing to put what worked into wearable form.
